Teenager 'critical' after forklift accident
A teenager from the Blackburn area is in a critical condition in the Royal Preston Hospital after being injured in a fork lift truck accident.
The 16-year-old, who is believed to be from Blackburn, was left with "serious chest and neck injuries" when he was thrown from a fork lift truck as it overturned.
It is understood he was riding on the side of the forklift, which was being returned to the yard after being borrowed by people working in neighbouring premises.
An investigation has been launched by police and the Health and Safety Executive in to the incident.
