Gang violence leaves man with broken jaw
A young man who was severely attacked by a gang and left with a broken has been awarded compensation form the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).
Doug had been on his way home from playing pool when he was set upon by a gang of men. The men beat him braking his jaw in two places and leaving him cut and bruised.
Doug had to have stitches on both sides of his mouth and was unable to work for some time due to the pain.
Doug instructed Bond Pearce to help him pursue a claim for compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.The team were able to secure Doug £3800 in compensation.
