Worker secures six figure sum after fall from unsecured scaffolding
A worker severely injured his back after he fell from mobile scaffolding injuring his back.
The supervisor had failed to properly assess the scaffolding before allowing workers to use it. So when Gary began working on the top level the scaffolding toppled over throwing him several metres to the ground.
Gary suffered a severe back injury and was unable to carry on his employment as a scaffolder.
The accident at work team investigated Gary's case. They were able to gain an early admission of liability and secured Gary in excess of £180,000 in compensation which included his future loss of earnings.
