Helicopter pilot suffers PTSD
Flt Lt Davidson was a helicopter pilot who fixed wing aircraft for 28 years.
While flying a sea king helicopter he was implicated in an air crash involving a privately flown Cessna. The pilot of the Cessna died due to his injuries. Despite being exonerated after several inquiries and being praised for their efforts to help rescue the other passengers on the Cessna, Flt Davidson was still not allowed to fly.
He began to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress and was unable to work. Bond Pearce were asked to investigate his claim.
