Car pulls out into cyclist breaking his leg
The driver of a car who pulled out of a minor junction onto a main road without checking hit a cyclist. Charlie, 60, was knocked from his bicycle. He had a number of injuries including a nasty break to his right leg. Charlie worked in a factory and the severity of the break to his leg meant that he would not be able to continue with this employment. His retirement was therefore brought forward.
His claim was settled by the Bond Pearce personal injury team for a sum that included the pain and suffering he endured and included his loss of earnings due to having to retire earlier than expected.
