Being the victim of crime does not only have a physical effect but in some cases also a psychological one as Hannah Hobbs has witnessed with one of her recent cases. "Geoff was the victim of a hit and run at the age of 19" explains Hannah who has been working on this complex case. "He suffered a severe fracture of the left tibia, has had 7 operations, including skin grafts and is no longer able to continue his employment. He has no choice but to be cared for at home."

"His injury is so severe that the fracture is still not united 2 years after the accident. He will be left with significant scarring."

Spanish enthusiast Hannah enjoys dancing, music, cinema, travelling and learning foreign languages. She has just completed a GCSE in Spanish at evening class. Londoner Hannah attended Plymouth University and has stayed ever since.
