Many of the accidents which occur in and around the home require medical treatment. In fact in the UK there are about 2.8 million accidents at home each year where the injured person visits an Accident and Emergency department for treatment. 1 million of those injured are children. In addition, there are a similar number of cases treated by GPs as well as millions of minor cases which are treated at home.
